With a prelube can.. I have used a new garden sprayer, a hand pump with the hose attached to a hose barb fitting that fits the BSPT oil pressure sender hole. This way, the turbos get preoiled also. Drain down your crankcase by 2-3 quarts and replace it through the oil prelube.
One thing to note is that the early oil pump pickups used an oring at the oil pump that can get cooked and break up, causing a path for air to be sucked into the oil pump.
